Looks great i give a 10 and would recommend to everyone with a mk4 gti

Solid replacement piece, thicker plastic than the stock piece it replaces, no soft touch coating(+) and shines like the rest of the dash right after a detail. Leather(ette?) piece looks like new and matches the factory shift boot pleather. Pleather install was easy enough, the fit was precise.
4 stars because it hasn't yet been able to snap into place like the piece it replaces, though it can be pushed into the dash and fits perfect, looks factory, wires tucked neatly into the pass-throughs below each guage pod, the two tabs on the back of the cluster pod fit in to the lower cluster perfectly, the tabs haven't yet positively clicked into place where they mount to the bottom of the instrument cluster. Still have the lower dash apart looking up from underneath messing with the tabs, there's probably something I'm missing. Despite this, the clusterpod still stays in place and puts the gauges to the sides just the right amount.
Gauges fit excellent and solid, barely needed one wrap of masking tape to shim the guages in to a good snug fit.

Gen 3 pod came sooner than expected which i was impressed with. Online warned you about with a possible two week waiting period, i received the package within a week. Well packaged and the quality of the cluster pod is strong. Only complaint/recommendation I have is deeper grooves for tucking wires/hose to install pod without pinching anything. 10/10 item regardless!
